Solace Void Demo
A downloadable game
Solace Void is a puzzle-platforming Game Boy game with horror elements.
GB Studio is the software used to develop my game, and I plan for full release in mid to late 2025. I also plan to put the game on physical Game Boy Carts once finished.
The demo build is still unfinished, but the core mechanics are functioning as intended I will be in need of any Game Boy fans that would like to test Solace Void in the coming weeks.
I would like to ensure the game play is tight and fun, before I start building the rest of the game. I'll be updating the demo regularly.
Game Description - Veteran monster exterminator Roland Crawford and his team have been hired to clear out a derelict science complex. Navigate the labs, kill monsters, destroy specimen tanks, and uncover the dark secrets of the abandoned science facility known as Solace Void.

Install instructions
The download file is a .gb rom for use with Game Boy emulators. I recommend using the emulator "sameboy".
To play the demo, drag "game.gb" rom onto the running emulator software. Link for Sameboy is below.
